Puja Roy, also known as Madhuri Das, was brought to AVIEW Jibantala Centre by Canning Police Station on 26 October 2025 through a General Diary entry. Initially, no major behavioural difficulties were observed. However, during counselling sessions, it became evident that she had difficulties with her identity, personal history, and recalling her home location, often giving different accounts. With regular medication, counselling, and group sessions, significant improvement was observed in both her conceptual and behavioural difficulties. Gradually, she was able to recall her complete home address, and her family was contacted. On 23 August 2026, her brother and other family members took her home. The family shared that they had been searching for her for nearly two years. AVIEW will continue to support her through medication and telephone counselling.
