Afuja Sardar

The AVIEW organization is under the jurisdiction of Jibantala Police Station. On 22/11/2025, at midnight, the police of Jibantala Police Station brought a woman named Afuja Sardar, approximately 18 years old, to the AVIEW organization. At that time, no problems or abnormalities could be identified.

She provided a phone number, but contact could not be established as the number was invalid. However, the next morning she suddenly left the organization, went into a nearby village, started shouting, and gathered local people. She stated that she did not want to return to the organization, nor did she want to go back home because she was scolded at home and was not allowed to do things according to her own wishes. For this reason, she refused to share her home address. After much persuasion, she was brought back to the organization.

With the assistance of Jibantala Police, contact was made with Canning Police Station, and later that same afternoon on 22/11/2025, her father and her maternal cousin brother arrived from their home and took her back.

According to Afuja’s father and cousin brother, they had searched for her throughout the entire night but were unable to find her anywhere. They stated that their daughter has mental health issues and that she had been taken to doctors; however, she had stopped taking her medication for some time. They mentioned that she leaves home around five in the morning saying she is going to school and returns around eight at night, spending the entire day wandering around the village. She does not listen to anyone and, if scolded, leaves the house.

They expressed their gratitude to the organization for providing their daughter with safe shelter during the night and for offering care and assistance to the best of their ability.
